From 5.30pm, on Monday, 7th October, at a venue less than 15 minutes from Caulfield, there will be a series of deeply moving artistic installations, light projections and songs honouring those we have lost and reflecting the emotions we have all experienced since that terrible day.

At 7pm, the formal commemoration will begin with the Walk of Light lantern procession, with each of the 1,600 plus lanterns made and carried by members of the community dedicated to one of the victims of the past 12 months.

The commemoration will include performances by school and shule choirs, notable names from the music industry, and personal reflections from members of our community.

The ceremony will conclude by 8.30pm, after which you’re welcome to experience the installations once again, or if you haven’t yet done so.

Whether you can make it for the entire evening or just the commemoration, we very much hope you will all join us for this landmark expression of solidarity with both Israel and each other.

If you can’t make it to the event, we invite you to make a lantern in honour of a victim and place it on your doorstep or in your window on the evening of 7th October.

Please note, this is a family-friendly event.
