Illuminate October is a global initiative launched by Zionism Victoria and Habayit, and supported by the Zionist Federation of Australia and UIA,  to remember and honour those who lost their lives on 7 October 2023.

They will be forever in our hearts – Tamid B’libenu.

Communities around the world are being invited to create lanterns in memory of each of the victims.

The lanterns can then be used in anniversary events or placed on doorsteps or in windows as a representation of the victim’s soul, life and light.

Photos of your lantern can be uploaded to social media, using the hashtag #illuminateoctober.
